The injured are still healing and the clean-up has not even begun in Plano where a home was levelled by an explosion on Monday.

A blast rocked a Plano neighborhood on Cleveland Drive near Park and Coit around 4:00 p.m. When the dust settled, a home was just absolutely flattened and the homes on either side suffered extreme structural damage.

Plano Fire-Rescue reports six people were hurt including one person inside the home and five who were next door.

Three children were rushed to Children's Medical Center in Plano while the adults were taken to Medical City Plano. Their conditions have not been announced.

Plano Fire-Rescue fire investigators have determined the probable cause of the explosion to be an isolated gas leak within the home. Plano’s Fire Marshal says further investigation will be necessary to determine exactly where the gas leak was located within the home.

Atmos was on the scene late into the night.

The Plano Police Department, along with the ATF and FBI, were on scene early in the investigation and determined, with the assistance of an explosive detection canine, that there was no hazardous materials or explosives involved and the home was not a crime scene.
