A Granbury couple, the parents of a former Marine with North Texas ties, plan to be in Washington D.C. Wednesday to demonstrate and raise awareness of their son's plight.

Trevor Reed remains behind bars in Russia where his supporters say he was arrested on trumped-up charges more than two years ago.

Joey and Paula Reed spoke by phone with President Biden when he visited Fort Worth early this month, but they want to see more action to get their son released because they fear for his health and mental well-being, especially with Russia now embroiled in its invasion of Ukraine.
