There's more information on yesterday's fatal shooting in east Oak Cliff.
Dallas police now say they will let a Grand Jury decide on possible charges.
Early Wednesday morning, just past midnight, a man was shot and killed at a home on Diceman Avenue near Kiest and Cedar Crest Boulevard.
The homeowner told detectives the man came to his door and tried to rob him. The homeowner had his pistol and opened fire, killing the other man at the scene.
After being questioned, the homeowner was not arrested and the case will be referred to a Dallas County Grand Jury.
