
Grand Prairie (1080 KRLD) - A man was killed on Saturday morning after a family member struck him with their car.
Grand Prairie Police have said that they received a call about an injured person at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Saturday morning. Once they arrived on location in the 900 block of S. Great Southwest Parkway, a man was found lying in a parking lot and pronounced dead on scene. His injuries indicated that he has been hit by a vehicle.
Gerardo Salinas was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to detectives, Salinas had been involved in a family violence dispute with the suspect, 61-year-old Anna Reyes, while driving. They say Reyes pulled over in order for the man to leave the vehicle and walk.
Reyes then circled the area and hit the man with the vehicle.
Since the incident, Reyes has been arrested without incident and is being held in the Grand Prairie Detention Center charged with murder.
