The woman who died in a freak accident in Arlington on Wednesday has now been identified.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner says Grand Prairie resident Teresa Hackworth was parking her car in the driveway of a home on Bent Tree Lane in west Arlington.

Witnesses tell police she got out of the car and began walking away when she noticed the car rolling backward toward the street. Apparently, Hackworth tried to jump back in the car to stop it when she fell and was run over by the car.

Paramedics found her very badly injured when they arrived. They rushed her to Medical City Arlington where she was pronounced dead about a half-hour later.
