A Grapevine man accused of taking part in the US Capitol riot on January 6, 2021 will have to face a jury in the District of Columbia.

Prosecutors say North Texan Larry Brock is seen in pictures on the floor of the US Senate chambers inside the Capitol building on January 6th wearing a military helmet, tactical gear and holding zip-tie style handcuffs.

Brockc faces a number of charges and he will have to face trial on all counts before a Washington D.C. jury.

The federal judge in his case has refused to dismiss any of the six charges against him including one that could land him in prison for up to 20-years.

Brock, like some of the other defendants in the US Capitol riot, wants his case moved to a different venue, citing the vitriol in Washington D.C. that could have an impact on potential jurors.

But Federal Judge John Bates denied all Brock's demands, meaning the case is on track for a trial in November.
