For the second time in 24 hours, a bus filled with asylum seekers who crossed the southern border arrived in Washington, D.C., early Thursday.

Under the direction of Gov. Greg Abbott, the bus dropped the migrant passengers off near the U.S. Capitol.  A similar scenario unfolded in the nation's capital on Wednesday.

The governor said transporting the passengers to Washington, D.C., is intended to send a message to the Biden administration on federal immigration policy.

Critics of the plan have claimed busing the migrants is unconstitutional, and some question whether some of the asylum seekers understand they have a choice in participating.

Dallas immigration attorney Eric Cedillo talked about the issue Thursday on the KRLD Morning News.
