Dallas (1080 KRLD) - A Dallas man who held police at bay during a seven-hour standoff in June has been indicted on eight felony counts.

Julio Guerrero, 28, was arrested on the 2nd of June, without incident after first refusing to come out of a barricaded home near I-45 and Ledbetter.

A U.S. Marshal task force had gone to the home to arrest Guerrero on a number of charges when gunfire broke out. Guerrero ran into the house in the 4500 block of Humphrey Street. Police peppered the house with teargas for hours before Guerrero finally surrendered.

Indictments handed up by a Dallas County grand jury accused Guerrero of the May 2nd shooting death of Francisco Rodriguez, 35, in Dallas, then with getting into another shooting during an argument in Dallas on May 10th. A 3-year-old girl was critically injured during the gunfire.

He is also accused of shooting at police during the standoff.
