A suspected serial arsonist is behind bars in Fort Worth.
Julio Frausto, 32, is suspected of starting 20 grass fires in Fort Worth over the course of seven days.
Craig Trojacek, Fort Worth Fire spokesman, says investigators were able to zero in on Frausto thanks to tips from the public.
"Our investigators were able to witness him leading the scene of a fire that was started," Trojacek said, referring to the grass fire near Buck Sansom Park last Thursday.
Investigators picked Frausto up on Prospect Ave.
"He agreed to give him an interview," Trojacek said, "and during the interview he admitted to starting those grass fires."
Frausto is currently in the Tarrant County Jail on one count each of arson, fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and evading arrest or detention.
Thankfully, the fires were limited to vegetation.
"No structures were involved in all," Trojacek said, "no injuries to anything and no livestock or anything like that that I'm aware of was harmed because of the fires - just a lot of resources that were tied up."
