A man is in the hospital after police found him badly wounded in a bullet-riddled car this morning.
Just after 2 a.m. a dark-colored Mercedes was found crashed near Lombardy Lane and Finnell Street in northwest Dallas.

Behind the wheel, officers found a man bleeding profusely. An officer applied a tourniquet to stem the flow of blood until paramedics arrived to rush the man to a local hospital. His condition has not been released.
Crime scene investigators spent the rest of the night on-scene taking photos, gathering evidence and looking clues as to why the driver was shot and who did it.
