DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- Dallas police have now identified the man shot and killed on Wednesday in East Oak Cliff.

It was the middle of the day when Kendrick Johnson was found shot several times on the sidewalk along North Denley Drive just south of the Trinity River bottoms.
Johnson was rushed to the hospital but it was too late to save his life. Witnesses told police Johnson was shot by a man who got away in a dark red car driven by another person.
The witnesses did not get good descriptions of either the gunman or the driver.
