A man has been gunned down in the Dallas Arcadia Park neighborhood early Monday morning.
Reports say just past midnight, 911 calls sent police to an apartment complex on West Jefferson near Loop 12. They found a man dead from gunshot wounds.
Police taped off a crime scene in the parking lot, enclosing several vehicles with the crime scene tape. One of them, a white SUV was found with its drivers' side door opened. Nearby, a pair of sandals was found on the ground. An evidence marker was placed next to each one.
Police spent most of the night on-scene but have not said why the victim was shot or who did it.
