A man is locked up in Garland charged with the stabbing death of a man on Thanksgiving Day.
On Thursday morning, police got called to a home on Sam Houston Drive about a mile from North Garland High School. In the driveway, they found a man badly bleeding from stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Before the end of the day, they arrested a man named Ram Hel on a murder charge. He's locked up in the Garland city jail. So far, detectives have not said how or even if Hel knew the victim.
