Man killed in shooting at Dallas gun range identified

The identity of the man who was gunned down and killed at a Dallas gun range has been made public by Dallas Police.

Dallas Police say the strange shooting happened Friday evening at the DFW Gun Range and Academy on W. Mockingbird Lane, near Harry Hines Boulevard.

Police reports say 24-year-old Trey Shaunfield was at the club doing some shooting when another man who has yet to be identified walked into the club, pulled out a gun, and shot Shaunfield.

The shooter then turned the gun on himself. The victim, Shaunfield was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooter is still in the hospital in critical condition. Police are still working on a motive for the murder.
