Fort Worth police are looking for the gunman who shot a man outside a convenience store in east Fort Worth Monday evening.

Police reports say the victim was wounded in the shoulder a little past 6:30 p.m. as he was walking past the Stop-and-Go store on East Berry, a block east of I-35.

The man told police he heard the gunshot and realized he'd been hit but did not see the shooter. He's in the hospital but his wound is not life-threatening.

Police can't say why the victim was shot nor who did it.
