The Mansfield school district says it's investigating a racist photo that's been circulating among students.
Apparently made around Halloween, school sofficials say the picture has been shared among students on their social media accounts.
Reports say the photo depicts a white teenager in a cowboy hat. Kneeling next to him is a Black teenager with a rope around his neck. The caption of the photo used the N-word.
Associate Superintendent of Communications Donald Williams says "the photo was taken by the students on campus and later shared with other students."
