MCKINNEY (1080 KRLD)- The city of McKinney is holding a candlelight in honor of those killed in the unthinkable massacre in Uvalde.

In addition to the vigil, people will take to the streets of Adriatica Village in a march of solidarity.

This is McKinney's latest effort to support its fellow Texans. McKinney Mayor George Fuller already started a GoFundMe campaign in which 100 percent of the funds are going to Uvalde’s official fundraising effort.

Money is also being collected tonight during and after the march to be used for hospital and funeral expenses.

The vigil starts at 8 p.m. at The Sanctuary, 6633 Virginia Parkway, Ste. 102 and is open to everyone. More information can be found here.
