Rockwall Police have reported that the scene around the storage facility on Ralph Hall has been cleared and the roadways reopened after the discovery of military-grade weapons inside a storage unit on Friday.

Police were called Friday by someone who bought an abandoned unit at the Vault Storage on East Ralph Hall Road after they found weapons and other artillery inside. Police evacuated the area and the Garland Explosive Ordnance Disposal team came out.
Police say they worked with local, federal, and military partners to come up with a plan on how to safely collect and dispose of the weapons. Their statement this morning concludes: "Any inquiries regarding the investigation into the person who stored the munitions can be directed to the Federal Bureau of Investigation."
