As the Dallas Jackals near the halfway mark in their debut season, the Arlington-based Major League Rugby side continues to wait for their first win.

Having lost 34-12 at the hands of the Seattle Seawolves last weekend with just over 2,000 fans in attendance, the Jackals are now 0-7 with a two-week break before their next game against LA Giltinis (3-3).

Despite their record, turnout at Choctaw Stadium remains steady and the home crowd continues to provide much vocal support for the full 80 minutes come gameday.

Looking ahead and the Jackals will be on the road for two straight weeks, first heading for LA before returning to Texas to face the Houston Sabercats (3-3) just six days later. The Jackals return to Choctaw on April 16th when they host another Lone Star State-based team, the Austin Gilgronis (5-2).

If their current records are anything to go by, Dallas' best shot at a maiden victory could come the following week when they head to Washington to play Old Glory DC (0-6) on April 23rd.

While the first half of their inaugural season may not have gone to plan on the field, the sense of excitement amongst the grandstand remains palpable as the Jackals surely edge ever closer to that elusive first win.
