Two Southwest Airlines employees are celebrating a milestone.
The mother-daughter duo recently flew their first trip together with mom Cyndi in the cabin as a flight attendant and daughter Alex on the flight deck as First Officer.
Cyndi says her daughter was about 7-years-old when she first helped her mom pass out snacks to the passengers. Little Alex said to her mom then "when I'm big I'm going to be up front and you're going to be back here."
Now that it's come true the pair say they're looking forward to many more trips together.
Just last year, Southwest had a mother-daughter team of pilots up front. Holly Benglen Pettit was captaining the flight with daughter Keely flying as First Officer.
