
A civil custody hearing has been scheduled for Friday in Hunt County where dozens of animals were removed from some nasty conditions from property near Greenville.

The SPCA says more than 80 animals were seized, most of them dogs but including nearly a dozen cats.
Officials say the conditions inside the home were deplorable, covered in feces, urine and debris. Some of the animals were kept outside with inadequate shelter, food and water.
One person was home at the time of the seizures. The SPCA says it expects there will be charges but the Hunt County Sheriff's Office is not confirming that.
