Fort Worth fire officials say the fire broke out around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the 1505 Exchange Apartments near Interstate 30 and Cooks Lane in east Fort Worth.
Mike Drivdahl with Fort Worth fire said the fire grew quickly to two alarms, with 12 fire trucks requested.
Drivdahl says two people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, and one person was taken to a hospital for medical concerns. No firefighters were hurt.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
