Data shows that in Dallas alone more than 400 road rage incidents have occurred in the past 12 months. In fact, every city has reported these types of incidents rising over the last two years.

Now the cities of Dallas, Irving, Grand Prairie, Mesquite and units from the Texas Department of Public Safety have teamed up to create a task force which aims to slow the trend.

"What we want the public to know is that we're not playing around when it comes to aggressive driving anymore," Irving police public information officer Robert Reeves said. "They need to change their behavior so that everybody can get home safe -- and if not, someone is going to be getting a ticket."

Reeves said law enforcement would attack the problem with police presence in both marked and unmarked vehicles.

Reeves says those people who are seen 'cutting people off' or driving aggressively, they will be ticketed and could also be arrested.
