Living in DFW has gotten a lot more expensive.
Renters in the Dallas area are paying almost 15 percent more on single-family rental homes this year compared to last year, according to a new report from CoreLogic.
North Texas tied with Austin for the fifth largest single-family rent increases in the U.S. Nationwide rents are up almost 11 percent compared to last year.
The great rent increases in the country were in Phoenix with a 19.3 percent increase and in Miami where renters are 29.7 percent more than they did last year.
