One person has died in a Sunday evening shooting in Arlington.
Arlington Police were called just past 8 p.m. and found a 17-year-old shooting victim already dead outside the QT convenience store on Little Road near Highway 287.
After talking to witnesses and going over surveillance footage, investigators learned the victim and the suspected shooter had gotten into a fight. Police say that's when 18-year-old Taymour Makarem pulled out a gun and shot the victim before running off. Police found him a little while later, arrested him and charged him with murder.
Police say it appears the two knew each other and had been feuding for a while.
There were three other people in the car when the victim was shot, but nobody else was hurt.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
