
Over 2,000 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported across Dallas, Tarrant, and Denton counties.
In Dallas County, another 17 people with COVID-19 have passed away and one of the victims was a child. The Health Department says the victim lived in Mesquite. Her age has not been released but she was older than 10.
Among the other victims were two women were in their 20s. One woman was in her 30s, and six victims were only in their 40s.
The county's also reporting nearly 700 new, confirmed COVID-19 cases.
In Denton County, another 687 people have now tested positive for COVID-19.
The county's also reporting someone else with the virus has passed away. The victim lived in Lewisville and was in his 60s.
In Tarrant County, another 12 people with COVID-19 have passed away. The victims include an Arlington woman who was only in her 20s and a Fort Worth man in his 40s.
Today the county's reporting another 809 new COVID-19 cases.
Across the three counties there are currently 58 adult ICU beds available.
