Person of interest sought in fatal Dallas shooting

Dallas Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a person of interest related to a fatal shooting at an apartment complex.

Police say they received a shooting call at approximately 2:54 a.m. on Monday, September 20th. Once on location at the Flamingo Apartments at 3901 N. Hall Street, officers discovered 30-year-old Justin Wayne Thompson laying on the sidewalk. Thompson had suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on location.

CCTV footage has since been released in which the person of interest can be seen walking.
