Plano police have arrested the owner of a hospice center, after family members of a man who died reached out.

The owner of Peaceful Touch Hospice & Palliative Care, 60-year-old Pamela Eyambe, was charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence after a falsified Do Not Resuscitate form was found.

Officer Andrea Smith says this case involves a woman undergoing care at the center, and the recent death of the woman's husband.

"This individual was caring for the spouse of the deceased. So, what we're trying to discover now from the medical examiner's office is a manner and cause of death of the husband who was not under the care of this facility," Smith said.

Smith says the papers didn't belong to the man who died, but they did belong to his wife who was being cared for by Eyambe.

Police are asking that anyone with information related to the care of any patients at Peaceful Touch please reach out. The woman is charged with tampering with physical evidence.
