Dallas (1080 KRLD) - If you notice more police on area freeways it's for a good reason. After a series of road rage shootings, the Dallas Police Department is increasing enforcement.

Police said most road rage shootings are happening on freeways and that's why they have added motorcycle and traffic units to run radar and look for drivers aggressively changing lanes and speeding up.

The Police Department hopes visibility will make a difference.
