Police have charged 25-year-old Oscar Garcia with the murders of three women, according to a statement from the Dallas Police Department.
Officers found the body of 60-year-old Kimberly Robinson on Santa Fe Avenue in April. Then, they found the body of 25-year-old Cherish Gibson on that same street in June.
Both of the bodies were found near near the Trinity River. Then this past Saturday badly decomposed female remains were discovered near the end of Brazos Street, a dirt road running from East Jefferson down into the bottom south of the Trinity near where I-35 crosses the river.
In a statement released Wednesday afternoon, Dallas Police said that preliminary investigations of Sanchez Garcia confirmed his connection to the third murder.
Police were able to use cell phone data and DNA to locate and arrest Garcia according to documents obtained by KRLD. Garcia has a previous arrest for assault family violence.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the homicides.
