Dallas police are investigating after a stray bullet flew into a woman’s second story apartment and killed her.
It happened at an apartment complex on Lazy Acres Circle in Dallas. Police say the woman, 26-year-old Wendy Godoy, was shot when someone fired a gun from an apartment adjacent to hers. She was rushed to the hospital, but did not survive.
"A probable cause warrant has been obtained for 30-year-old ... Noe Leon Claudio," says Officer Michael Dennis, with Dallas police. He says Leon-Claudio is a person of interest.
The murder is still under investigation and at this time it’s not clear if any arrests have been made.
Anyone with information about what happened is asked to come forward.
