A Collin County man is going to prison for decades for sexually abusing a child for two years beginning when the victim was only ten-years-old.
Princeton resident Benny Phennel was convicted by a jury and was sentenced to 45 years with no chance of parole.
During the trial the victim testified about reporting the abuse after becoming worried upon learning that a younger child was going to be spending the night with Phennel.
