Prosecutors will continue presenting their case against accused serial killer Billy Chemirmir this morning in a Dallas courtroom.
The State will continue to concentrate on crime scene evidence in a case that appears like a puzzle that is being put together slowly and methodically.
The victim in this capital murder trial is Lu Harris, who police believe was killed about an hour before Chemirmir was arrested in March of 2018.
Reports say Police were onto Chemirmir after an attempted murder at an assisted living center.
Detective Joe Claggett was on the stakeout of Chemirmir’s apartment when he drove up, and police moved in.
Crime scene investigators found jewelry they say belonged to Harris in a dumpster at the apartment complex.
