One man's dead and another is in the hospital after gunfire erupted early this morning at a northeast Dallas apartment complex.
The first 9-1-1 calls came in just before 4 a.m. reporting gunshots at Summerwood Cove, a complex near Skillman and Audelia. It's still very early in the investigation and police are not saying who the gunman is or why the victims were shot.
A man is in a Dallas hospital after shooting up a home in the Cedar Crest neighborhood, and then getting wounded by return fire from the homeowner.
On Sunday, the first shots were fired from a car at a home on Maryland Avenue near I-35 and Illinois. Police say it turns out the homeowner was armed and fired right back hitting the attacker, putting him in the hospital in critical condition.

Police say a man now identified at Ledarian Wyatt fired at another man but missed. The shooter then took off but has now been arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The shooter is still on the run in east Dallas where a victim was robbed and shot over the weekend. The shooting was on Munger Avenue near Hall Street.
Police reports say the gunman demanded the victim's property, shot him and took the property with him. The victim was taken to the hospital but his wound did not seem to be life-threatening.
One man has died from a triple shooting in West Dallas over the weekend. The three men were shot Saturday on Fabrication Street near Sylvan and Singleton.
The three were rushed to the hospital where one died and the other two were listed in stable condition. Detectives have not said who shot them or why.
