Arlington police say they have arrested the man named as a person of interest in the murder of his girlfriend.
As we reported Wednesday, police were looking for Jose Luis Moreno Castaneda in connection with the death of Evila Yanes.
Her body was found a month ago in a parking lot on Cooper Street. Police are now saying they got a tip that Castaneda was in Lewisville and Thursday morning members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force went to the location, found him, and took him into custody on a violation of probation warrant that had been issued for his arrest.
Police say so far he is not talking to detectives about the murder, and as of now no charges have been filed in connection to the case.
