A second man has been captured in the search for the killers who left a Lewisville woman and her adult son dead in their home.
On August 14th the bodies of Lilia Fernandez Ortiz and her son Alejandro Arrellano-Fernandez were found by a relative who got worried after not hearing from them for a few days.
Early on, Lewisville police arrested a man named Samuel Melkamu on two counts of Capital Murder. He remains locked up in the Denton County jail.
Monday, Lewisville police confirmed the arrest of another suspect named Jawara Oji Black who was captured in Houston. He will be returned to North Texas for arraignment and trial.
Detectives have not said why the victims were killed.
