Officials are saying of the 16 wildfires still burning in the state of Texas, the biggest is the Somervell County 'Chalk Mountain' fire which has charred more than 6,700 acres. It remains just 10% contained.

Near Possum Kingdom Lake, the "1148" fire has now burned more than 450 acres and is just 50% contained. The west side of the lake is described as a burned-out wasteland. It's destroyed five homes and at least five other structures.

And in Parker County, the Sandlin Hill fire is over 170 acres with 95% containment.

A little good news, though as officials say the East County Line fire burning east of Dallas near Wills Point in Kaufman and Van Zandt counties is now considered 100% contained after buring over 400 acres. No buildings were burned.

Burn bans remain in effect in 215 of Texas' 254 counties.
