There are many great attractions at the State Fair of Texas, but what keeps attendees coming back year after year is the food. Every year brings a new fried concoction that has jaws dropped and mouths watering throughout Fair Park. Now, they are giving people the chance to give some of their favorites a try at home, as the State Fair of Texas recently released their Creative Arts Cooking handbook.
The State Fair of Texas is still more than three months away from their opening weekend, but that hasn’t stopped people from thinking about their favorite fair snacks. While some dishes may seem impossible to make at home, the State Fair recently released their Creative Arts Cooking handbook, which includes award-winning recipes spanning 10 years. The book includes winning recipes from 2009 to 2019, according to CW33.
In total, the handbook includes over 2,000 Best of Show titles. The book is being sold for $25, and will definitely keep State Fair fans busy for the next three months. Hopefully not every dish is deep fried, or else they may not make it to September.
