UPDATE: Dallas Police has canceled the Silver Alert for Holmes and he has been found safe.
A statewide silver alert has been issued for a 79-year-old Dallas man.
Dallas Police say Terry Holmes has a cognitive impairment, and has been missing since Thursday morning.
He's black, 6’01, 185 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen walking along Scyene Road wearing a black jacket with paint splatter on the back, blue jeans, and red shoes.
