The man who drowned at Lewisville Lake over the weekend has now been identified as Chianti Reed who was reported missing in the lake Sunday off Lewisville Lake Park.
Witnesses reported seeing him swim outside the buoy ropes of the public swim area where he struggled for a bit and then went under.
Lewisville Fire Department divers recovered his body about 8 p.m. Sunday.
Including a teenager who drowned Wednesday, this makes five drowning victims at Lewisville Lake since the Independence Day weekend.
