Two men are on the run in Fort Worth where police are investigating a suspected gang shooting; one of them is the target victim and the other is a suspect.

Police say the gunfire erupted Tuesday night just past 7 p.m. at the Shell station on East Seminary at the I-35 service road.

Reports say two men in one car fired into the windshield of another. The suspected target bailed out and got away on foot, but police can't say if he was wounded.

Meanwhile, the shooters got away but Fort Worth officers spotted their car and tried to pull it over. But the driver first rammed the police car and then stepped on the gas.

The chase went north on I-35W but after a short while the car stopped and everyone bailed out.

Two of the suspected gang members were caught, but three others got away for a while. Officers with help from a police helicopter caught up with two of them.

Fort Worth police are holding two men and two teenagers, but one suspect is still on the run. So far, they have not found the target who got away back at the Shell station.
