A teenager has died after being shot outside the Hurricane Harbor water park in Arlington last night.
Arlington Deputy Police Chief Chris Cook says an off-duty officer was working security at the park and heard a loud commotion in the parking lot.
He was moving over to break up a fight when he heard the fatal gunshot. A 16-year-old boy was taken the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses pointed out a vehicle and police stopped it.
The people inside were taken to Arlington police headquarters for questioning but no arrests have been announced.
It's too early for police to say what the argument leading up to the shooting was all about.
Police have CONFIRMED that the student went to Martin High School.
