A teenager is dead and an accused drunk driver is locked up in Tarrant County.
According to reports, Sunday night around 6 p.m. a man driving a truck and hauling a flatbed trailer crashed into a home on Jason Court in White Settlement.
Police say three people were inside the home including a couple and their teenage daughter. The girl was killed at the scene. Her father is in the hospital with serious injuries. Her mom's injuries are considered minor.
A passenger in the truck also has minor injuries.
The driver, later identified as Donald Gruber was arrested on charges of Intoxicated Assault and Intoxicated Manslaughter. Police also applied for a warrant to test Gruber's blood to determine his blood alcohol level.
