Texas Governor Greg Abbott has signed the controversial bill that controls how teachers can discuss current events and racism in Amierica in classrooms.
The new law bans teaching what is called critical race theory.
Despite objections from educators, Texas became the latest state to ban such teachings.
The law takes effect in September.
