A Denton County man has been indicted in Maryland where he's up on federal charges of threats transmitted by interstate communication, related to a threatening message sent to a former Baltimore Health Commissioner and current CNN news analyst who publicly advocated for the Coronavirus vaccines.

Aubrey resident Scott Harris is accused of sending a text to the doctor saying: "Never going to take your wonder drug. My 12 gauge promises I won't. I'm a 5th generation U.S. Army veteran and a sniper. I can’t wait for the shooting to start."

Harris has an appearance scheduled today at the US District Court in Plano.
