A pie to the face is almost always guaranteed to generate laughter. Luckily for those looking for a good chuckle, there should be plenty of pie shenanigans in DFW this weekend. The Texas Pie Fest will return to Rockwall on Saturday, giving attendees the chance to not just eat pies, but have some fun with them as well.
The third annual Texas Pie Fest will take place at DFW’s Tate Farms this weekend. Attendees will be able to sample pies from multiple North Texas vendors. The event also includes a pie fight, pie-eating contest, pie baking contest, and more. There is even a dog pie-eating contest.
“Do not worry, there is going to be plenty of pie,” said Melissa Tate. According to WFAA, tickets are $10 for anyone 11 years old and up, but free for children and dogs. Maybe this weekend is the time to finally give your loved ones a pie to the face.
