The Ryder Cup's opening ceremonies are this evening in Sheboygan, Wisconsin where the US team will host their European counterparts over the weekend.
Played every other year, team Europe took the cup in France in 2018.

Last year's match was postponed because of the Coronavirus but things seem good to go this weekend.
Typically, the opening ceremonies include introductions of the players, speeches from the captains and musical and dance entertainment.
Play begins Friday at 7 a.m. Texas time and Dallas is well represented on Team USA with three of the twelve Americans having ties to North Texas including Highland Park alumni and UT grad Scottie Scheffler, SMU grad Bryson DeChambeau and Dallas Jesuit and UT product Jordan Speith.
