A shooting in Fort Worth injured three people Sunday night. Police were called to reports of gunfire in a parking lot in the 4200 block of Miller Avenue, near 287 and Wilbarger, at about 8:30 p.m.

Police said a "large gathering" of people had met outside a convenience store. When police arrived, they found a man had been shot. MedStar took that man to JPS.

Police said two adult women were also brought to hospitals, one to JPS and the other to Harris Methodist, in private cars.

"Those two women are possibly related to the incident on the same block on Miller Avenue," said Officer Daniel Segura.

Segura says the Fort Worth Police Gang Unit is leading the investigation and working with the department's Gun Violence Unit. Monday morning, he said investigators had not identified a motive or suspects.

Several other businesses are located near the convenience store.

"If anyone takes a look at their video surveillance, and if they have any important information about this incident, please let us know," Segura said. "We would like to talk to you and maybe get a copy of those photos or videos."
