Following gunfire at Irving Nimitz High School Monday, two people are locked up.
Police learned it started as a fight in the parking lot. But someone pulled a pistol and fired a shot, maybe more than one.
The gunman then got away but police quickly pulled over the getaway car. The gunman and someone else were arrested.
It doesn't look like anyone was hit by the gunfire.
Nimitz was placed in lockdown until police determined there was no more danger. Even so, commanders kept extra officers on campus for the rest of the day.
