A child's birthday party in south Fort Worth takes a frightening turn, as two men open fire at one another.
It happened shortly before 9:45 p.m. Saturday evening at a home on Glen Garden Ave.

"It was just a family dispute that happened over a child custody issue," says Fort Worth Police spokesman Ofc. Tracy Carter. "A subject came to visit his daughter; and basically, a shootout occurred."
Both men are hospitalized in critical condition.
"No children or anyone were harmed during this incident," says Ofc. Carter.
Carter says the man who instigated the shooting is under arrest as he continues to be treated at the hospital.
